Cabin Review

Cabin 6168. Infinite Veranda. Partially obstructed view as Life boat obstructs much of view from lower window. At night bright exterior lights, from the lifeboat outside, shine in the room making it impossible to sleep so blinds need to be closed making it like a dark dungeon. Therefore, one can never wake to a sunrise or see the moon etc. in this room.

Infinite Balcony is like being in a hot house. Not like a true balcony at all. More like a room with ocean view where you are able to open a window.

Our air conditioning worked poorly and cut out at times before reaching desired temperature. Max cooling did not keep the room cool . Technician came to cabin twice to try to resolve. With any sun shining through the windows it can get to 25 and not cool down for hours. Open the window and the air con shuts off and immediately the room is hot and humid like a sauna and all the mirrors etc. are covered with fog/moisture..

”Balcony” area is quite small. Folding doors to balcony are completely opaque so also obstruct view.

Bed is by the window away from air con vents so can be warm at night. Rooms alternate bed by window or door. Eg. Cabin 6166 has bed by door - much preferred by us.

Bathrooms are very nice. Cabins are nicely decorated but sofa only has one armrest. Although seemingly small at first, closet and other storage in cabins is very functional.
