The cruise began by parking at Fulton Place in New Orleans. The shuttle service was very easy and convenient. Embarkation was quick and we passed through security without any problems. Our cabin was clean and ready by 1:30. Our cabin steward kept our cabin clean throughout the cruise but there was very little interaction with the steward. We had anytime dining and we ate most evenings at 5:45. Our waiter and team were excellent (Sucipto, Leeroy and Bedja). We enjoyed the seaday brunch. It was much better than eating on the Lido Deck. The evening meals were good. We tried the picked shrimp appetizer and it was excellent. We asked for a second. We do not watch the musical shows. The comedians were all good. Just June/Mom's Manley was very funny. My wife likes to play the quarter machine in the casino. It has a bonus game with tokens and letters. If you spell the word "bonus", you win $100. The ship put only one "s" in the machines the whole cruise. We have been to each of the ports several times. We did excursions in Belize and Cozumel. The beach and lunch in Belize was OK. There is not much to do on the island and we were ready to leave. We went to Playa Uvas beach and lunch in Cozumel. Again, it was OK. The food was good. Disembarkation was great. We were off the ship before 7:00.
The cabin was clean. We do not spend much time in the room other than to sleep.
We drove in the night before and stay in Metarie.
We like the carnival beach in Roatan.
