We chose this cruise to have the large ship experience and visit the ports on our itinerary. What I liked: freestyle dining and the specialty restaurants. Not having an assigned dining time was nice and the steakhouse was especially good. The entertainment was also good, although the Burn The Floor show was a bit disjointed. The ports were all good. Our cabin steward (Michael) was very good and responsive. The ports were all good and there was plenty to do everywhere we went.

What I didn’t like: being nickel and dimed to death for the entire cruise. Do not buy the water package which is bottled water delivered to your room. Not only is it unnecessary and expensive, the environmental impact is huge. They should sell reusable metal water bottles with special filling stations at various locations through out the ship. The elevators were frustratingly slow. Oftentimes 1, 2 or even 3 (out of 4) of the elevators were out of service. The excursions were also VERY expensive. For a ship of 4100 passengers, the front desk was severely understaffed - lines were very long. WiFi is expensive, slow and connection is weak. Lastly, I didn’t like the bathroom sink out in the cabin.

Balcony

Cabin was cramped - which isn’t unusual. The bathroom was funky - not a proper door on the water closet (toilet). Even the closet couples need privacy. Balcony was nice to have on a Med cruise
