Not sure if 'niggles' translates well and this is my first cruise so it might be just NFC (normal for cruising).

First impressions of the ship was great. Speedy embarkation and friendly reception. However when we wanted to get a drink 15 minutes before muster we were refused and we were parched! Didn't know about that. Muster took ages but there were plenty of seats.

We went to Taste for lunch but was so rushed! Server's constantly around us to take plates and my son's main came out when he was still eating starters. We should have gone to the garden café. Next morning we were refused entry to the garden cafe at 11.15 but it was supposed to close at 11.30 - disappointing. Kids club was hit and miss. My 11 year old found "free style play" in Splash boring. I took her to the "Entourage take over" for 8 pm as advertised to be told it was open at 8.30 pm - so we went to Splash, to be told it was at 8 pm at Entourage and they had "just called down to tell them" (yeah right!) so we had to walk the full length of the ship back to Entourage!

Have to agree with most people that the design is awful. Separate toilet and shower with sink in the bedroom doesn't work. Especially with 4 people in a really cramped space trying to get ready to go out. We found with the bed out of the ceiling and the wardrobe doors open it formed a useful changing cubicle!

Barcelona

Great city. Took a free walking tour of the Gothic quarter with Strawberry Tours. Would definitely recommend
