At the time we booked this it was one of the newer NCL ships. It also fit our schedule. We liked the freestyle dining but didn't like always having to make a reservation and still having to wait. Also having to make reservations for all the shows and some of the shows we couldn't find where to make the reservations.
Our dislikes... did not appreciate on the last sea day the deck hand going around and taking our towels off our lounge chairs and throwing them on the ground into a pile, and stacking our lounge chair up. We were told that they were getting the ship ready for the new passengers coming on TOMORROW and not caring about our last full day on the ship to enjoy our vacation. When we talked to a supervisor about this he calmly apologized but did nothing.
We also did not appreciate that men could not wear shorts in any of the specialty dining venues but woman can, and very short shorts too.
We did enjoy the water slides, that is the ones that were open. Only 2 of 5 slides were open most of the week until the last day when only 1 was open. We were told that they were down for maintenance but no one was ever working on them, even on port days.
The other frustration was the set up for the ropes course. We couldn't have anything in our pockets, even zippered or velcro'd pockets. And no lockers or cubby holes to store items. We had to run back to the cabin to empty our pockets. Since adults like to do these things also, this should be considered.
This was our 1st NCL cruise and not sure if their will be another.
Very comfortable and spacious.

Beach was not as clean as other cruise lines private islands. Pool and services were nice but we don't understand why we couldn't take beverages purchased on a port that is owned and operated by that cruise line.
