We chose this cruise because my adult children particularly wanted to visit St Petersburg.
Despite reading some negative reviews about the state of the ship before we went, we found it to be fine: immaculately clean, decor was smart, everything was well-maintained. We were in an aft balcony cabin with my son in the overhead bed and found it comfortable and sufficiently spacious, with a particularly large balcony.
Entertainment was not always to our taste and we were disappointed that there wasn't a west end musical production of the type we've seen on Royal Caribbean in the past. But some of the acts they had around the lounge areas were excellent, we particularly enjoyed the reggae band and the classical guitarist. We do a lot of quizzes and got to know several of the cruise director's team who were lovely. We were a bit disappointed that RC are still rolling out the same Murder Mystery dining show, having already done this twice we didn't want to pay to see the same scenario played out yet again.
We had 3 adults in this cabin, my adult son sleeping in the berth above my husband and I. We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable, with sufficient space for all of us. The balcony is larger than average, and although parts of the ship's infrastructure are in the way it actually has extremely good views.
