Pre-Cruise

We flew out of DAL the day before the cruise on Southwest. There were four adults in our party with plenty of luggage so when we got to the taxi stand we asked the young man there if he could get us a minivan taxi and he got us one immediately. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Downtown......close enough to Pike Place Market so we could walk there the next morning.

We got up the day of the cruise and walked to Pike Place Market and ate breakfast at Lowell's around 7:30 ish. Excellent breakfast. After eating, we spent about an hour and a half walking around the market. We walked back to our hotel and were ready to go to the pier by 10:00. We asked the concierge to help us get a minivan taxi and he said it might take a while since they were sometimes hard to find but he found one that would pick us up in fifteen minutes.
