Alaska was the reason. I toss up between Princess and Celebrity. Princess USED to have the edge....good officers, great public rooms, superior entertainment, excellent food.

However, standards have certainly dropped. Celebrity runs rings around the great Princess line now, in my opinion.

Public rooms are fine. But why, oh why is smoking still allowed in the casino?

Cabin Review

Premium Suite with Balcony

Cabin S5

Very disappointed in the suite which cost an arm and a leg. Being right at the front of the ship one presumed there would be a spacious view forward Not a chance. There was a vast bedroom with acres of floor space, a nice king bed, a desk and a disappointing sloping window. Attached was a comfortable sitting room with a narrow balcony. Nice bathroom, good hanging space. Fridge, no coffee making facilities..
