This is our fourth cruise on NCL, and it has left us wanting. After getting on the boat my wife and I instantly noticed that the Joy was lacking compared to the other ships. Below is a list of glaring issues that made our overall experience less than desirable.

1. Despite the fact that the website shows pictures of a thermal suite on board, we asked the staff where it was and they informed us that this boat didn't have it.

2. The Starbucks cost extra, despite us having the drink package, which already cost a fortune, and the free coffee in the buffet was terrible.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Way too short of a time here, beautiful hikes all around but not enough time to really get them done.

Juneau

Again not enough time here, and had to cut our hike short in order to get back on the boat on time.

Icy Strait

It's a dump, and the nature trail is a loop around the zipline course. Town is run down, and there is no hiking anywhere. Even went to the ranger station to try and find a trail, she informed us it's 14 miles down the road.

Victoria

It's a city, I came on a Alaska cruise for Nature, not a dense city.
