Sail Date: May 2019
Cabin: Superior Deluxe Balcony Stateroom

We chose the cruise as it was available for my significant birthday was only a week long and sailed from Southampton.

We also booked a superior deluxe on the sailing for not much more than a standard balcony.

We sailed with my oh’s parents and had a nice time but both and oh’s parents who are exprencied cruisers felt pretty let down by p and o.

Cabin Review

Superior Deluxe Balcony Stateroom

Deluxe cabin towards the aft on d deck.

We enjoyed the seating area, and the larger bathroom.

Cabin decor is looking a bit tired but was clean and well kept by our cabin steward.

Our toilet was out of action from 6pm on day of embarkation till 8am the following morning, not impressed by the way p and o handled mis informing people as to when this was being repaired. Very poorly dealt with by reception.

Port Reviews

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

We had a pleasant morning walking round the town, and a spot of shopping. High st shops though we found to be the same prices as the uk mainland.

La Coruna

We took a walk round the old town and the Crystal part of the town, very pleasant

Cherbourg

Despite being a Sunday there was a event in the harbour with a tall ship in, we had a pleasant half day ashore
