This was our second time on the Escape, enjoyed it a little better the first time. The first time we went was in September and leaving from Miami so the weather was a bit different and the waves were a bit bigger this time. I traveled with my husband, 14 year old son and 19 year old daughter. It was very easy getting on and off the ship. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth and was very organized!
Entertainment- Headliners Comedy club was very good. We didn't go to the dueling pianos on this cruise but always have and we always enjoyed it. After Midnight was good. By far the best show on this cruise and probably I've seen on any cruise was Choir of Man! This bunch on guys really knew how to get the audience involved and they put on a fantastic show! Loved every minute of the show!!! Cruise Director Scott is great and the rest of the entertainment crew do a great job as well!!! There is always something to do.
Dining- We ate in at Cagney's and La Cucina for Specialty Dining and both were excellent from beginning to end. The service was very attentive and perfect timing in between courses. The food was excellent! At La Cucina our favorites were the mushroom risotto and the fettuccine alfredo! Parmesan Truffle Fries, Crab Cake and Pork Belly were the favorites at Cagney's aside from the delicious Steaks! The food at O'Sheehans was very fresh and tasted great. The chicken wings and the Fish and Chips were our favorites. The service there was also excellent. We ate at each of the main dining rooms. The service isn't as attentive and the selections aren't as great but that's why they have the Specialty Dining experience. I'm not really a fan of the Buffet but that's my personal preference. They do have very good varieties and the food is not bad for a buffet.
Didn't take any excursions but absolutely loved the island. Very beautiful and the weather was perfect the day we went!
