For starters, I had my worries about this trip. This was my first cruise with Norwegian and I had previously read a lot of poor reviews about Escape. I was truly surprised about how incredible this trip turned out to be for my spring break. Checking in was fast and organized, considering the fluctuation of people boarding. I shared a balcony room and it was spacious. We were assigned a cabin steward and he was excellent! The entire cruise staff was FANTASTIC! I am not exaggerating! They were on point every single moment of the trip. Every dining room, restaurant, and bar, the staff was amazing. Very friendly and always helpful. I’m not sure what it was like for other escape cruises, but our entire ship loved “washy washy.” Everytime we entered a dining room, we were given hand sanitizer and the staff would sing “don’t forget washy washy.” It was hysterical and I am grateful that the staff was working hard to ensure everything was clean at all times. I have booked every single show on the ship and they were excellent. The choir of man blew me away!!! As a young adult on spring break, some of the parties were very funny, but I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant. They had activities all day long from karaoke, deal or no deal, pool games... you make it. The food was incredible! Every single dining room, buffet, and restaurant was amazing!

My advice, pay for everything ahead of time. I had paid for gratuities and charges I’m advanve, which left me to not worry so much about spending and being charged onboard. Keep in mind, it is cheaper when you pay the gratuities and fees in advance. Great stirrup was beautiful and I did the Atlantis excursion. The weather was good in the Bahamas. It was cold on some nights throughout the ship considering it’s March. Overall, incredible time. I am very pleased with NCL. Most importantly, they did make us all feel like family. I met a lot of people my age (early 20’s) and a lot of people who are a little older. We all enjoyed it together. It was a family friendly trip but it was nice to see that they organized karaoke nights and party nights based on themes and age groups.

Out of almost 5,000 people who went on this cruise, there is bound to be a handful who are unhappy with their trip, and that’s okay! But I would like to show my appreciation to NCL and their beautiful and incredible staff. They truly work very hard to give each of us a fun and relaxing vacation. I will definitely continue to be apart of the NCL family. Thank you for making my first cruise incredible.
