First time with Norwegian, we did only a dozen of cruises to date with different companies. Departure was Miami port, easy access 30 minutes from airport depending on trafic.

Let get rid of the negative

-Driest embarkation, not even a glass of water in the waiting hangar, no welcome cocktail on board. Be prepare to wait (in the sun) before embarkation, the security is close to the entrance queue overflow outside. This should be corrected when the new hangar under construction, is finished

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window

Cabin OB

5042 cabin is located just over the exit door used in every ports, no need to mention it is very noisy as they get ready to install the ramp noise parts at 6:00 am some days

Port Reviews

the kids went to the Waterpark private arrangement, the park came to the port to pickup the kids and returned to the ship, the price included the transport, the use of the beach facilities lunch and return to the ship on time.

Barbados

the kids went snorkeling private arrangement with a local company they enjoyed very much the tour

San Juan

the ship docks near the old town, you cab do your own walking tour, the fort is worth visiting

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

we stayed around the port, been there 3 times

St. Maarten

The family went to the beach, Netherland side, second time there. Next time if we go back we would go on the french side, where most of the people go anyway.
