Sail Date: Feb 2019

Wanted to see the Northern lights, and Norway in winter.

This ship is very badly in need of updating, not enough seating for all guests and a lot of threadbare seats.

Food served at dinner was never hot , mostly lukewarm.

Cabin Review

Cabin Polar artic superior!

Mattresses on bunks very worn out and uncomfortable. Chipped basin in en-suites. Bed linen not changed in 12 days. Cleaning poor and done by waiters from restaurant. TV in first cabin 515 did not function although staff repeatedly tried to sort it, we had to balance on a bunk to pull out a plug on cabin ceiling to turn it off when it did work, not easy for an eighty year old passenger, curtain in second cabin 603 hanging off as hooks broken and someone had tried to fix it with a safety pin.
