We took a 7 day cruise out of New Orleans. We took this cruise for several reasons. The first reason is because it left from New Orleans. Since we live just outside of New Orleans, it is very convenient to just drive to get on the ship. The second reason is because it was a Royal Caribbean ship. We have sailed several times with this cruise line. We usually enjoy their ships. The third reason is because it was a New Year's Eve Cruise. Overall the cruise was enjoyable but there were some disappointments with this cruise ship. The entertainment was top notch. The music was good and the entertainers were awesome. Our cabin was very comfortable. We did not have a very attentive room steward. We also did not care for the food in the main dining room. We did not eat in any of the specialty restaurants. The ports were visited were very good except Miami. We landed in Miami on New Year's Day. Most of the tourist attractions were closed. This port was a change in our itinerary. Originally we were supposed to go to Coco Cay. We were very disappointed with the change in itinerary.

The cabin was very comfortable. It was close to the elevator but too close. We were enjoyed our cabin very much.
