Informal, impromptu, catered to our every need, every detail covered. Super easy getting on and off. Definitely going again on the Mediterranean next time. Great local guides, the sound devices give you freedom of movement during tours. The ship never has to tender, we can always dock and just get off and walk around. We love walking, and these cities are built for it. The Danish towns of Skagen and Fredericia were just lovely, the people so welcoming and friendly. These lovely small towns said farewell to our ship with their little marching bands! We loved Copenhagen, too, extended there on the start of the trip. Kiel, Hamburg and the Kiel Canal were also highlights. Entertainment on board was exceptional, as were the historical folks on board. Lots of food choices, never had to get too dressed up, we were able to dine when and where we wanted without having to make a reservation.
