We did a good amount of research before booking our cruise, and we were pretty sure we wanted to go with Norwegian. When a great deal showed up in our email, we grabbed it.

5 night Western Caribbean with stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, for 299.00. We deliberately chose the second week of January in hopes of missing a lot of 'family vacations with children'. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, mostly mine. Ha ha. But for a relaxing romantic time, I was hoping there wouldn't be an abundance of children on board, and we were right!

As first time cruisers we had no real expectations other that what we gleaned from our research on various sites. First of all we booked through Cruise Direct and I was more than satisfied with the customer service and follow through. Great people over there! Secondly, every interaction with Norwegian was superb. Things ran like clockwork. Smooth and easy. Though the line was long in the terminal on embarkation day, everything was handled like a well-run machine.

This was a great spot. Super close to elevators and at the end of the hallway so we didn't have people on both sides of us.
