Our Viking Into The Midnight Sun cruise started in London where we arrived a couple of days early in order to spend some time in the city. My wife and I had been to London many times on business and weren't really sure what to expect from the excursions so we picked things we would have never done on our own, including the London Eye. The London Eye gave us much more than we expected and we found it very enjoyable.
For the Edinburgh stop we chose to see St. Andrews as I love to golf and had never actually seen it. We had a very nice tour of the golf course and then enjoyed a stroll around town. It was quite enjoyable.
Kirkwall, Orkney was our next stop and we chose the Viking Whiskey experience. This was one of the highlights of our trip and I would be hard-pressed to visit Kirkwall and not do it again. The group size was limited to three and we only had ten show up. The Scotch Whiskey tasting and distillery tour was quite interesting but then we got in a mini-van and had a smaller, more intimate tour of the island.
Absolutely love this cabin. It is very spacious and relaxing. We did not hear noise from any of our neighbors. We had two room attendants who were quite helpful and engaging. We expressed our personal taste for the mini-bar refrigerator on the first day and that's exactly what they stocked it with.
This cabin as aft and we particularly like the wrap-around veranda; it allowed us to get a great view.
