My family decided at Thanksgiving dinner that we would like to take a vacation over the holidays. We were able to easily book a cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway. Working with the representative from Norwegian was very straight forward. Boarding the ship was seemless and our rooms were ready shortly after we boarded. We missed out on some of the specialty dining but we more than made up for that with the fine dining options which were available. The ship was immaculate and there were plenty of onboard activities. There is a wide variety of shore excursions available and we were able to pick and choose and schedule well in advance. The ship was always on time and ran like clockwork. It made it much easier for us to sit back and enjoy ourselves because of the friendly efficiency of the cruise staff. it was a wonderful vacation that was enjoyed by the entire family. Get away if you can, it is well worth it.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

Cabin OB

We didn't spend too much time in the cabin. We were up early and on the go. We would stop back for short rests after excursion or evenings on the ship. The cabin was very reasonably sized and the bed was very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the selection of available programming on the tv was a pleasant surprise.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

We spent a day in new Orleans and did some of the major tourist attractions. There was a massive police presence which was both comforting and a little disturbing.

Cozumel

A great way to relax and ease into vacation. it took a while to get there but was worth the boat ride.

Belize City

the snorkeling was amazing and the few hours on the beach afterward was a welcome surprise.

Harvest Caye

The beach and the pool were awesome. Lots of neat little shops to explore. Very convenient to the ship.

Costa Maya

More than zip lining. This was also a water park. We rented a locker and were able to cover the whole park including the water slides, lazy river and the intermediate zip line course.
