Had fun on the Jewel

We were on the Jewel Feb 14-21. Besides having cloudy, cool weather until the last day, the cruise exceeded our expectations. This was our 3rd cruise with Norwegian, but on other vessels (Norway & Wind).

Embarkation: We arrived at the dock at 11:20 am & went through security & were on the boat by 11:30. Very efficient! Had only carry on luggage so kept it with us & went up to deck 13, sat in the lounge chairs & had lunch. Rooms were ready by 1:30. Mandatory drill was fairly painless; we sat in the lounge for a short time for the demo, short & sweet. No life jacket required. Read more
