My wife and I chose this cruise because it was sailing close to where we lived (Delaware). Had a terrible time the first day at sea because of sea sickness. I guess you hit rough waters from New York but it gets better once you get to the Caribbean side. We enjoyed the variety of food on cruise, however, we were very disappointed with the Orchid Garden. First time the food was Ok. We thought may be it was just a bad night. Tried it again another night and when the food was served you can tell it was not fresh because the noodles started drying out and the meat started turning into a dark brown color on the edges. The Splash academy hours did not work for us because of their operating hours (9 am-12pm/2-5 pm/7-1030 pm). We had to stay within their hours for our kids to enjoy what they had to offer. My kids seemed to enjoy the child program on our previous cruise with Royal Caribbean more than with Norwegian. Otherwise, the crew made it better for us. They were very pleasant. The Steward went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed in our cabin. The servers at the dinning areas did the same.

The cabin was nice. Our travel agent surprised us with a free chocolate strawberries for my daughter and a bottle of wine for my wife. They loved it!
