So we followed this ship from concept to delivery and made sure that we were one of the first to sail her as a fare paying passenger.
Flight from UK to Miami with BA was great and we stayed in Miami at the Four Seasons prior to travelling to Port Everglades.
Embarkation whilst busy was good and we were onboard nice and early.
Cabin--the famous infinite verandah we thought was quite poor. We certainly did not feel as if we were in a balcony cabin and the doors seperating the so called balcony from the room were a little flimsy. We could not open our "infinite verandah" window on quite a few ocassions due to an override system.
The whole concept we felt was a little wrong and a little cheap looking.
Nothing else to report on the cabin but all in all disappointing considering the price we paid.
Top deck is a little weird to say the least. Others have mentioned that it appears a little cheap and tacky and that in truth was our impression also.
They have a massive large screen in the roof top garden that blares out American sports thats sometimes disperesed by some reggae band who had 3 songs in their repoitoire.
Sunset bar at the back is not a patch on the bar on Solsctice Class ships.
Food in general is ok--we ate every night in one of the MDR restaurants whilst buffeting lunch and breakfast.
We were a little concerned about the temperatures of some of the buffet items being served but were assured that all was ok.
EDEN--what a mess--what a silly concept, what a silly concept poorly executed--in our opinion. We went once and never set foot in it again--plain weird--tacky plastic chairs, smoke filled room etc etc etc.
All in all for what we paid, the service we received, the stateroom we were allocated etc this was probably the worst ship we have ever been on and we sailed on Anthem of the Seas once!!
