The food was terrible. The only hot item for breakfast was an omelette which they did know how to make it properly with filling not inside of the eggs. The meals overall weren't that great and people beside us weren't happy at all. They cut back on the drinks at the meet and mingle, there was no welcome back party in the atrium and the did not have different drinks at the meet and mingle like they did on the Seaside. Found out that it is up to the cruise director (Jerome formally from RCL) wonder if the money isn't spent on the food and alcohol it goes into their pockets instead. The drinks at the garden bar were watered down and I did get a cap cod instead it was vodka (never tasted it at all) with a full can of cranberry juice which was watered down. They weren't mobility friendly. I felt sorry for the people that suffered because of this. The room was not set up for the meet and mingle as we sat by the bar area and the seat were not comfortable for everyone to sit at. We got tired of complaining about the service, food and the port area where we docked was were their ships from their shipping company dock not in the towns where other cruise lines dock. The price was reasonable with the drink package included. We met some wonderful people on the cruise and hope to meet with them again. Anyone buy any alcohol on the last night which was on sale. It was ridiculous as their was only one cash register and the employee had to use a calculator every time to figure out the 10% off. Really not in the system or a sheet to look at by the till not much selection. A bottle costing $17.00 would be $1.70 off. No calculator was used to figure out this price. Looking forward to going on a different cruise line. Have been on RCL, Carnival, Holland and no more MSC. The laundry package was a joke 10 for 10 which I wasted 30 minutes of my time because they did not deliver on time and the clothes were not pressed. Man in charge of the laundry told the two ladies at reception that I had to pay to have them pressed but they told him I prepaid on line with MSC. He was rude to them and I got the closed pressed after that. No V8 that was on the menu sorry out of it the whole cruise. Waiting 1 1/2 hrs in line to pay for my on board charges what a fun time that was along with a lot of other people and so much for walking off the ship with your luggage another long line. Thank goodness got to the airport in time. Spoke to Ziggy in charge of hotel services. Nothing changed after I explained about my issues. Good luck and MSC I do now agree stands for Miserable Sea Cruise.
pillows were not comfortable and the mattress cover was old and I felt the springs on my body.
