Booked Mexican Riviera, got roundtrip of LA!

We booked this cruise because we want to have some warm days, visit Mazatlan und Puerto Vallarta, we got a Cruise up to 71 F in Ensenada. Norwegian Cruise Line had the possibility to inform the passengers before the cruise about the change of the iitineraries with the choice to cancel the cruise. To my opinion they had to cancel the cruise because it was´nt the cruise booked! We expected sun and hot temperatures and not cold weather! We expected Mexico and got a roundtrip of LA!

NCL shift the risk to the cruisers and get money because they save fuel! NCL doesn´t matter that the most cruisers don´t want this ports because they live there or were at the ports several times! It looks NCL is only interested in the profit!

The second negative point was the large group of travel agents which blocked often public areas, also the pool deck or the smoking area on Deck 17!

Now for the actual cruise:

The dining was ok. We used 2 times "Le Bistro" and Tepanyaki. We preferred the breakfast in the main diningroom. The buffet restaurant was a disaster from concept, when you come to your seat the food could be cold.

The Beatles Show was very good but you had to be in the Cavern Club 30 minutes before the show otherwise you couldn´t get a seat. The room was to small for this shows, also for the shows in the atrium you must be early to get a seat.

The Shows iHavana and Jersey Boys were not what we expected, the shows were ok but had not the quality of RCL.

The pools were to cold to use them, for the heated pool in SPA you need a pass! On our cruise in summer with RCL from Amsterdam to Stokholm, St. Petersburg and so on I liked going swimming every morning, the pools were heated, I expected the same for NCL!

The 3rd time NCL but by far the worst cruise.

In San Francisco we walked around, in San Diego we visited Seaworld and in Ensenada we made a shore excursion.
