Family members recommended it. Viking has good reputation. We had a great time and met many new friends. The crew knew our names by the second day. We had to change ships mid way due to low water levels. The whole process went unblemished with very little inconvenience for the passengers. Food was good. Some meals were better than others but generally good. It was a good idea to have left side of menu staying the same and right side changed daily. Breakfasts, especially choice of cheeses and pastry were great. Enjoyed the yogurt too. The wait staff did everything that they could to meet our requests. Also enjoyed the cocktail areas. The beverage package was a good deal. We enjoyed many evenings pre and post dinners sitting with new friends enjoying our cocktails-made to order. The excursions were good. It was lovely to start out at a reasonable time in the mornings-not the crack of dawn as other tours do. Also nice that we had leisure time that we could enjoy. Can't wait till the next cruise!
