First time on a Viking Cruise, but it will not be my last. The crew was very friendly and helpful during the cruise remembering names and what was your favorite beverage, the service in the dinning room was first rate, although the food could have been better, but the wine was excellent. The cabins were small but had everything you needed, you really don't spend much time in your cabin. The Director of Activity was wonderful she took care of everything on the excursions with out a problem. The excursions were interesting and you had time to be on your own, they were about 3 to 4 hrs. which was just right. Before dinner she would inform you of the next days activities, which was very helpful. We met a great group of people from all over the US and had a lot of fun. It was a very relaxing cruise if you are looking for lots of activities in the evening this is not for you, the entertainment was fine, piano music and dancing and some local entertainment. All in all it was just what i wanted and needed no packing and unpacking every night and I had time to just enjoy the beautiful Rhine.
