We chose this cruise for the wonderful itinerary and the fact that MSC doesn't charge for infants like other cruise lines do. The itinerary was the Baltic/Northern Europe. The embarkation was amazing - walked right on board and we had showed up early for the embarkation. We did not take any of the ships excursions - booked a Shore Trip excursion for Russia and either did the shuttle or walk offs for the rest of the ports. The ship was lovely however the food was just ok. Much prefer Princess and Royal Carribean - especially the desserts. The announcements were very long as they were done in 6 languages each time - went to only 2 shows at night and the same issue there with announcements etc. I understand that they cater to a large range of nationalities so it is understanding. Missed having comedy shows etc. because of the language issue. The staff were generally very helpful - would do an MSC again if travelling with children only.
