Our first cruise was on Disney which I will say spoiled us with their incredible customer service and gourmet food in the many dining rooms available on the small-midsized Magic. We chose Brilliance of the Seas because of the Western Caribbean destinations available during my son's school fall break.

The ship was was in pretty good shape, clean and all, but was disappointed overall in the quality of the Minstrel main dining room meals. The Wind Jammer buffet offered more varieties and Minstrel food quality was no better in quality or presentation.

Restaurant servers and crew members on the ship rarely yielded to us when plowing through with items they were delivering.

Super nice and friendly steward who kept the cabin tidy and in tip top shape. Cabin was clean.

Port Reviews

Key West

Loved Key West. We disembarked and walked to Southern Most Point for a photo-opp. Then a fun and informative tour of Hemingway's home museum. We then strolled down Duvall Street where we stopped for lunch. No need to book an excursion in my opinion.
