Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

My dear wife (DW) take a cruise as our "big" vacation of the year. We've done four so far, two on Carnival and two with NCL. We were told that R/C was a step up in quality so we decided to try.

We flew into San Juan two days early to miss the snow storm and stayed at the Embassy Suites and Casino. Great hotel with a nice pool and also had a gym, laundry and three restaurants. The hotel was a 2 block walk from the beach and provided beach chairs.

The ship itself was in good shape for being 9 years old, the carpeting, paint, wall covers, etc in the elevators, lounges, theater, ice rink, outdoor public areas, gym, spa, etc were well maintained and were in great shape. The only thing I saw was one of the men's sauna rooms wasn't available due to mechanical issues - these things will happen.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

The room was quiet with enough closet room for a couple. The balcony had an impeded view due to a 3' wide section of wall that ran floor to ceiling.
