Mainly, just wanted to do a cruise. Selected this one because It had places I had never been. Everything went well, easy getting on the ship, and especially loved the Valet embarkation. Have never had such fast and easy way of getting off the ship. I would take this option anytime it is offered to me.

It is a very nice ship, and was glad to hear it was being updated when we finished the cruise. Everyone was very nice, food was good, and especially liked the updated menu at dinner. Since the Cruise lines went to specialty dining, the last few cruises I had gone on did not offer much seafood at the main dinner other than fish. Was glad to see more seafood offered in the main dining room. Especially love the International Food Court and the fact that it was free. Good place for lunch especially rather than fighting crowds at Buffet. But I was pleased that it also seemed the buffet food had improved this time also.

Cabin BF

Cabin was nice but needed an upgrade. Ship went into drydock for that when we departed off the ship. Good news. Everything was very nice and very clean. Enjoyed the cruise very much.

Port Reviews

Astoria, Oregon

Took Shuttle into town. Very nice, and just walked around the town. Loved the ride back in the 1929 dodge, which was included in the shuttle price.

Monterey

Tendered in there. Only walked the length of the Boardwalk. Of course, there was probably more to see, but with my age, was not able to do much more.
