The ship has 2 sets of elevators fwd and aft. Lots of restaurants to choose from and specialty dining facilities. We sailed in a group of 12 and all had a great time on all the activities we participated on. Hurricane Florence did not even bother us during our sail.
The escape has a couple of venues. Food republic, and tapas. Both were excellent, Bayamos for seafood! Great sushi at food republic. Had lunch there twice. Tapas had wonderful small plates. Prices were very reasonable. quality of food and service at main dining rooms was great. Cagney's had the same quality of food as usual. In fact the lobster bisque was excellent. Had a lobster at the seafood restaurant. It was just perfect. But everything else was wonderful. District brew house was a nice place to relax, read and have a beer. Buffet selections at the Garden Cafe will give you a wide variety of food from soup, pizza, burgers to main dishes. They even had an Asian Station on both sides of the serving area.
Good job for the captain for keeping us safe and for the sunny weather in his navigation and keeping us posted during a medevac close to Nuntucket. The cruise director (Mandy) and her staff made all the activities enjoyable like the win, loose and draw: family pictionary, dancing with the stars, crew staff talent show, although at the 5:00 Bar Somewhere, karaoke selection was very limited, they could have more.
I had an ADA cabin, the doors were wider than the regular balcony staterooms. My stateroom Steward (Jenny) from Nicaragua did an excellent job in keeping our stateroom
clean and supplies.
