I chose this cruise because my daughter and son, both adults booked this cruise and I wanted to spend time with them. It wasn't until I saw the customer service line that I was glad I purchased the Faster To Fun. I was then able to skip the entire line and go right up to counter to get speak with a representative.
I feel like they rushed us through our cruise. They didn't re stack the claw machine until we were 2 days into our cruise and then it was just a 1/2 hearted effort, making it hard to win. Then, when they did re stack it, they shut the machines off, as if they were saving it for the next set of passengers. Also, the fact that they want you to start disembarking at 6:45 am on the scheduled day to leave, I felt rushed. Also, about the casino, the entire 4 day trip I didn't see any big winners or hear any of the machines go off. My fiance lost interest in gambling and said the odds were bad. I tried a little on the tables, slot machines and the claw machine, and just sank deeper and deeper. Eventually, having to quit playing because I went broke. (Spent between $500 - $700 without anything really paying out.) I didn't play bingo on this cruise because I've played on other Carnival cruises and the cards are so darn expensive and they don't pay well either. The $5000 bingo prize they try to suck you in with is damn near impossible to get. (A full card in 49 numbers or less.) I am an avid bingo player and know the possibility of this is slim to none.
I booked a shore excursion at last minute and was glad I did because in Freeport there is nothing to do except maybe shop a little in the immediate area. I snorkeled with my daughter at Princess Cays which was a lot of fun. I enjoyed swimming with all of the colorful fish.
This was the first time getting a balcony. I thoroughly enjoyed having access to outdoor air from my room.
