The ship, service and staff were amazing. We would definitely go again on Avalon. The small size of the ship that included guests and staff, allowed everyone the opportunity to get to know each other. The special service in each port to accommodate the "gentle walkers" allowed everyone on participate in a shore excursion at a level that was comfortable for them. Several of the members of the service team we would have loved to bring home with us. Personable, friendly, professional and efficient. From the Captain on down. They did whatever it took to get the job done and add to the guests experience., The one and only negative that I would say was going through the Wassau Valley with Salsa music playing after the cruise director completed his commentary of the area. Would have been wonderful to have had more appropriate music. Amazing experience.
