I love Cruise Critic and you must too or you would not be reading this review. I would like to be able to share with you some useful information regarding my cruise on the Radiance and information I received from my fellow Cruise Critic members on this ship.

The embarkation was as smooth as any I have ever encountered. We left our hotel(Holiday Inn Bayside) at 11:00am which is a very short distance from the pier and HI provided free transportation to the ship. Since The Radiance was the only ship in port we zoomed right thru check-in, which can be murder if more than one ship is in port. The whole process was less than 10 minutes.

We then had to wait until 1:00pm to go to our cabin, so off we went to scope out the ship and take some pictures because everyone else was in the Windjammer and this is a very good time to take pictures without tons of other cruisers in your picture. We also checked out our dining room spot. Then it was off to join the herds at the Windjammer for a very adequate lunch. The Windjammer is divided in separate areas for hot, cold, sandwiches, desserts etc. this can be very confusing because no one knows where the line starts and sometimes on sea days the lines are so long they wind around in front of another station.
