We were having 50th anniversary,and wanted see places we had not visited before,we booked discovery2, Marella cruise lines,and we were so happy we did,engender though I read some awful reviews beforehand,from the moment we stepped on plane to go until we came back was amazing,embarkation onto the ship was so quick and easy we even had our photographs done in super quick time.we had an inside plus cabin with a fabulous steward Vladimir the place was spotless and plenty off room for two of us,not cramped at all,even though I had read different,bathroom was also compact but not cramped.vladimer or steward was pleasant efficient informative and helpful,while friendly respected our privacy,thank you so much Vladimir,we dined in all the restaurants and buffets,food was lovely piping hot always and plenty off it we dined in resturant 47.in both for breakfast and dinner sometimes,this is gorgeous and staff really wonderful to everyone we went to both restaurants of 47. We dined in Buffett resturant again same wonderful food and staff and views are amazing of sunsets at night.we had dinner in speciality resturant Surf and turf,you have to pay for this and was well worth the money,and attention you get there,they do a tomahawk steak 32 ounces,wow you should see how it looks gigantic,lol.we didn't have it of course or I'd still be eating,the price is £28.50.for each person but I'd recommend it ,and it was our 50th anniversary,so we didn't mind paying this special night,the entertainment was great from singers,saxophone players,groups and the shows were great especially one show from the musicals,Stupendous,on this ship there is something for everyone so no need to say,there was nothing to do and the lounges show theatre main body of ship is beautiful,and so are all the staff who man this ship,everyone we had contact with was friendly courteous and pleasant they are a credit to discovery 2,and last but not least the ports,we visited were amazing and such scenery stunningly beautiful,each outdoing the other Venice,Dubrovnik kotor beautiful,and all walking distance just couple launches in the whole two weeks so once again I say thank you so much Marella cruises,discovery 2 and Vladimir or steward,we will definitely be back soon,OH sorry also Rosie the photographer,who was always taking photos we have plenty photographs for memories
