We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit the southern Caribbean islands and vacation with people of different cultures. Embarkation was a breeze. We got to the port at 12:30 and were on the boat in 20 minutes. This is an older ship, but it is well maintained and the staff did an excellent job of keeping it clean. The Windjammer cafe was wonderful and we had most of our meals there. Food in the Windjammer was much better than the main dining room. They served Indian, Greek and Mexican food and the last night served delicious seafood. We never experienced lines in the Windjammer except on embarkation day. I also recommend Chops Grill. It's pricey, but the food was superb. There were some negative things about the food selections. There was only one place for ice cream and it closed at 9:00 and there are no hamburgers or hotdogs near the pool like Carnival has. Regarding entertainment, the ice skating show is top notch and karaoke was fun. The Funk it up band and Freedom of the Seas Orchestra performed in one of the ships lounges and were both great. Unfortunately the entertainment around the pool area was lacking. There should have been a live band or DJ at the pool in the evening or all day on sea days. Also, we NEVER saw the cruise director. We didn't do any Royal Caribbean sponsored excursions. We found tours when we got to all 4 islands and all provided a tour of the island and 2 hours at the beach for about $15 per person. Make sure that you thoroughly review your bill upon departure. They tried to charge me $75 for towels that they claimed that I hadn't returned. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would cruise with Royal Caribbean again.

Cabin 6B

Cabins are showing their age, but the bedroom and bathroom are clean. The mattresses were a bit hard.
