Top class restaurant at the Top of the Rock - Mons Caipe Suite 
We walked from our cruise ship to the top of the Gibraltar Rock. We could see in Trip Advisor that there was a very nice restaurant at the top of the cable car so we went in for a beer. The staff and management were very welcoming so we decided to book a table for lunch. 
We had a table by the window with spectacular views of Gibraltar and the surrounding area including the port and our cruise ship :-)
The menu was outstanding and we both chose the langoustine dishes (one salad and one pasta). Excellent food, very reasonably priced. 
Thanks again to the staff for the free ticket for the cable car down. 
Would highly recommend a visit.

1) Spanish Tours
Barcelona
Our guide was Helena who kicked off the tour full of energy and enthusiasm. 
We had a very luxurious air conditioned mini bus for approx 20 with just 11 guests. 
The tours included a viewing of some of the Gaudi buildings around the city, a visit to Sagrada Familia and finally a walk around Güell Park. The whole tour was four hours long. 
I especially liked the way Helena guided us to the perfect photo opportunity and helped to get that perfect shot. We stopped for a view of Sagrada Familia and walked some way to a small park for some lovely photos. We then set off around the cathedral to get great views from all sides. Our final visit was to park Güell. Entrance tickets were organised as a part of the tour which was very convenient. Be aware that the tours involves quite a lot of walking in the heat / sunshine. Take a hat and if you have trouble with mobility the tour could prove difficult. Please inform Spanish tours accordingly. 
All in all, an excellent tour, great value for money. It’s a very good way to see the sights in a short time.

Alhambra
Our day started early with a coach journey to the Alhambra from the port in Malaga (a drive of approx 2.5 hours). 
Even though we were three smaller groups we were all transported on an air conditioned coach together. 
The journey was broken up by a short stop at a very good services. 
Our guide Rafael was very knowledgeable and told us all about the highlights as we passed through the beautiful countryside. 
On arrival at the Alhambra we were split into our groups. The tickets were all organised for us which is essential as you cannot buy tickets in the day. 
Our tour guide Danny spoke wonderful English. He equipped us all with headsets and then guided us through the Alhambra. The tour was informative and interesting. An excellent day out and great value for money compared to the same tour being offered by the cruise companies. 
Before heading back to Port we stopped of in the town of Granada for a quick lunch (not included in the tour). 
All in all an excellent tour, we would recommend Spanish Day Tours.
