Had 3 nights in Rome before Boarding the ship at Civicevechia by the new terminal which was very smooth and pleasant. Have been on Celebrity Cruises for 6 years now. The ships are modern and comfortable. This was a great cruise. Had a British cruise director Lewis who was great, young and full of energy. Loved the new outdoor screen showing films and sport on the lawn. The shows were absolutely amazing and the acts they had on were class acts. Went Aqua class this time and really enjoyed Blu. The food was really good and met some very friendly and interesting fellow guests. The ship had a nice friendly vibe to it. We always got talking to someone sat at the Sunset bar at sail away. Highlight port of call was Gibraltar where we went to see the apes, who were very cheeky but wonderful to watch, St Michaels caves and the tunnels! Was an excellent excursion and the tour guide was simply brilliant. As we have been on a few cruises now we did a lot of exploring ourselves which we really enjoyed. Using the local trains and getting lost using google maps and local maps but we found some great gems! Absolutely love cruises, different port everyday, always something different to see and do. Beautiful scenery, wonderful sightseeing, amazing food and drink and best of all meeting local people and new friends on board the ship. Best holidays ever!
The cabin was good had everything you needed. Soft furnishings a bit dated but Celebrity are starting to do refurbishment on their ships.
