Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Jul 2018
  • Destination: the Mediterranean
  • Cabin Type: Balcony Stateroom

We chose this cruise for both Value and Itinerary, and neither disappointed.

The ship was clean, and consistently being kept that way bu the attentive crew.

The Cabin was clean and a good size, no issues with storage at all.

We had fun with the excursions, we booked them prior to the trip, and this worked out well, as we had the tickets waiting in the cabin when we boarded. It was was those touches that made the trip easy.

A couple of the excursions were interrupted by stops at specialist shops with the tour guide... Not what we wanted but we just didn't go in to the stores.

The Itinerary was 1st class, lots of places off my bucket list, and each one different.

The food was as expected and we ate in the restaurant each evening. The buffet on Deck 13 was always very busy and this caused a lot of people to get frustrated when trying to find a table. But this was expected and would be the same in any hotel with the same setup.

The on board crew were fantastic, they were always happy to help, and wee very good at remembering you during the cruise, which is an art in itself.

I will be cruising with MSC again next year,

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom
Cabin B2 9169

The Cabin was a good size for the 2 of us and the Balcony was just right,

There was plenty of wardrobe space, and the cases fit nicely under bed.

The bathroom was spacious and the shower was just right.

The housekeeper kept the cabin clean and we never had an issue with her the whole time.

Venice

This was our embarkation and disembarkation port, and everything went really well

Brindisi

Stayed on board the ship as I did not see any thing that appealed. This worked out well as we had a thunderstorm that day and being on the ship was the best place

Santorini

We left the ship ourselves to just walk around the port.Had a fun couple of hours and would like to do this again some day

Acropolis

Great experience with a nice early start so we missed a lot of the crowds

This would have been a better tour if we could have had free time to look arounf the museum instead of being led to just a few areas

Corfu

Stayed on board as I wanted to spend some down time around the pool

Didn't live up to expectations and could have been a lot better, Beach was rocky and only spent 10 minutes swimming in the cave
