Information about us: Husband and Wife (27 and 26 years old), married 6 years, 3rd Cruise with Carnival.

Before Cruise: We flew into Orlando Airport on Friday January 22nd, Flew Northwest from Minneapolis, good straight through flight. Rented a Car from Enterprise (found them to have the best price, and no transfer fee to Cape Canaveral). Spent the Night at the Radisson Resort at the Port, had nice rooms, good accommodations. After checking into our room my wife and I drove to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, drove on the Black Point Wildlife Drive. Very neat drive, great picture opportunities, very nice and relaxing, after this we went back to the Radisson, and decided to eat at a little pizzeria by the hotel called Kelsy's. Great food, would recommend this as a place to eat. Woke up the next morning, and had breakfast at the Radisson, good buffet, not quite like the cruise, but good. Took the car to the Enterprise location, and got there free shuttle service to the port to get on the ship.

Embarkation: What a breeze, Enterprise dropped us off right at port next to the luggage handlers, we than went in, and proceeded with embarkation, we were on the ship by 11:45 am; we were told our rooms would be ready at 1:30pm. Went to the Lido deck to check out the ship, found our way to the Adults only Serenity Area, here they had great love seats, hung out here and had a drink to celebrate the starting of out cruise. After this we got lunch, and went and checked out our room and balcony. Had a room on the 10th deck, port side room 10240, it was a great view, and was a nice room. Night One: We had 8:15 Late Seating in the Upper Scarlet Dining Room. On this cruise, I have to say we had the BEST wait staff ever. Head Waiter was Gerald (just started new contract, 19th year with carnival), assistant was Cristina. Both were very good, Gerri loved Michael Jackson, and would dress and dance like him for the dinner performances. He also performed several tricks for our table, and did an excellent job. Thumbs up to the lobster night, and also the Cold Cream Soups, my wife loves these, and the best dessert ever the Chocolate Melting Cake. Also meet our room steward (Randall), I think he was one of the best room stewards we have ever had, did a great job, and talked to us all the time, he too just started a new contract this week. Went to the Welcome aboard show, kind of the same a before, but as always, great dancing, and singing.
