My boyfriend and I went on this cruise for a family wedding, which was beautiful. The niceties end there. The ship was booked to capacity so needless to say it was crowded. However, you shouldn't have to wait in line EVERWHERE you go, especially waiting for an elevator. We have had to wait for up to 4 elevators to pass us by simply because they were full already. The muster was a joke!! They show you a video along with several hundred people, so you can neither see the video or hear it. I still have no idea what to do in case of an emergency. Forgot trying to leave this area! and I thought the elevators were full later on in the trip! You couldn't get near one at this point. Imagine all these people scrambling to get on.

The food was always lukewarm, never hot, no matter where you ate. In the buffet area, the Windjammer, there were never enough seats. Most of the time you couldn't even find a seat! Every restaurant, café, whatever all had the same basic stuff to choose from. I always heard the food on cruises was exceptional. Guess not! The staff seemed miserable, like they didn't want to be there, I think they were under-staffed and over-worked. Plus, it was hot in the common areas, hallways, elevators, etc. Either they had the a/c turned down or it couldn't keep up. Many people complained about it. Very pushy with the dining packages, which is annoying, every time you turn around, someone is there trying to get you to purchase one and they don't take no for an answer. Pool was always crowded, and the Solarium, which is the adult pool area, is so hot in there. Those pools are not designed for swimming either. Although, it is a very nice area to get away from the kids that are always running around unattended, especially in the hot tubs. Parents, hot tubs are not meant to baby sit your children!

Cruising is something I wanted to experience once anyway, which I did. I can cross it off my list because I will never again be going on another one! Other than the wedding, it was a huge waste of money.

Cabin Review

Cabin Ocean View Balcony (10 D)

We did have a balcony cabin, which was beyond our expectations. The room was very nice, more room than I had anticipated. Having a balcony is a must! It was great to sit out at night and get some air, look at the sky. Or in the morning and have a cup of coffee. Bathroom was plenty roomy and the shower was wonderful with a glass door and not a shower curtain. Lots of storage in the cabin as well, more than we actually needed
