We chose this cruise because we like the Royal Caribbean cruise line and the quality of the service and overall experience. We can drive to Galveston from the Dallas area, which eliminates the cost of an airline flight.

We enjoyed the Liberty of the Seas and we had an excellent balcony stateroom on the 12th deck. The service provided by our cabin steward was excellent. Our main dining room waiters (Dodgie and Gerald) were extremely efficient, talented and personable. They made the dining experience wonderful. The quality and variety of food was extremely good.

Our shore experiences were very good, except for my wife's excursion in Roatan. The excursion was at a resort, but the staff seem unprepared for the crowd and did not have enough chairs on the beach nor enough wrist bands for the buffet line. My excursion with Jungle Top Ziplines (an outside vendor that was not an official RCCL tour operator) was excellent. We visited Starfish Island in Belize, and drove ATVs and went snorkeling in Cozumel. Both of those excursions were very good.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 6D

The cabin was very spacious compared to other cabins we've had on previous cruises. There was a very spacious couch area and the balcony was nice. The shower and bathroom were a little cramped. The location of our cabin was great. We were very near the elevator and we were only one deck above the pools, so they were very convenient.
