This was our families first cruise and it will not be the last. We were very satisfied with the NCL Getaway. Our cabin was 9200 and it fit all our needs for a family of 4. We were impressed with the service on the ship. We were awesomely impressed with the entertainment! The food was good. Food was excellent during the Circus Soleil show. I highly recommend spending a few extra dollars for a table. The show was so good, the entire family loved it. We also enjoyed food at The Tropicana and Taste. YUM YUM! It was a treat to get to watch the Burn the Floor dancers during dinner. We were located right next to the dance area and even got some winks. :) The ship is set up very well and it is easy to learn where everything is located. I was impressed with all the services offered on the ship, especially our room stewart Pelom. We grew to love him and his cheerful service. He knew our names right away and seemed to fit right in with our family. We loved all our shore excursions. We ziplined (first time for all of us) in Honduras, had a beach day in beautiful Belize, visited ruins in Costa Maya, and drove a dune buggy, snorkled and had lunch with an awesome view. This was our #1 family vacation to date and I look forward to cruising again and will more than likely lean toward NCL, since they provided us with a awesome experience and fantastic family memories.
