Before I provide insight into my rating, I want to first relay my perspective (which may validate - or invalidate - my review for other viewers). We are a family of 4 (2 middle school aged children) that travel frequently and love to explore new places. Because we live in an downtown Chicago, we are accustomed to innovative cuisine and strong service. We enjoy active travel holidays, healthy food options, and seek out the fitness center during vacations.

That all said, the Jewel of the Seas gets a somewhat lower rating from us and we are unlikely to sail this ship again.

I'll start with the good:

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 1B

Connecting cabins. 9094 has a larger balcony. They are close to the Centrum and staircase, and 2 floors directly below Windjammers, making the early morning coffee run a breeze. While they were close to the stairs, we did not hear any noise in our cabin. While they are marked as spacious ocean balconies, these are not appointed in any sophisticated or tasteful manner. There is closet space and cabinets for storage. Fine for us because we pack efficiently, but I can see how others may find limited.
