We went on the Bliss for my sisters birthday. We originally booked the Pearl and then the dates for the Bliss were released and we decided to change. BIG MISTAKE!! NCL prides themselves on Free Style Cruising. Well this boat is anything but. This is our 6th NCL cruise. We have been on many different ships including the Epic and the Bliss is a waste of money. You have to make reservations for everything! Within the first hour of the cruise everything from the laser tag to restaurants had no more reservations left. Luckily we reserved the laser tag and go karts before the drill that morning. ON the day we were supposed to play laser tag the person in charge wouldnt let my son (6 years old) play because he was wearing Crocs. So I ran to the other end of the ship to get him a pair of my shoes to wear and noted they let 2 girls go in wearing flip flops (We have photos to prove they let the girls go in). When we said something about it we were told we had to wait 15 more minutes for the next group to go in. We left and went to customer service where a supervisor came down to talk with us and nothing was done besides credit us back for the laser tag we didnt get to enjoy. Then the day we had go kart reservations I called customer service and asked about closed toed shoes and Crocs and was told as long as it is closed toed it is fine. So we get all the way up there and are told my son cant go on with Crocs. We go to customer service again complain and the same guy comes out talks to my husband this time and cant tell us why he cant wear Crocs. In the end we ended up spending over 3 hours at customer service, missed 2 shows we planned on going to while having to deal with this and an upset 6 year old. He did get to go on the go karts but they couldnt book him during a time that he could drive himself he had to go in the double one. The crew on this ship is rude and when it is brought up to the supervisors nothing is done to make things right. They make up rules that are not posted anywhere but bend the rules for others. Bigger is not always better. We should have went on the Pearl! Dont waste your money on this ship!
