We chose the Nuremberg to Budapest cruise on the recommendation of our travel agent Elizabeth Lakic, with Vision Travel in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. The entire crew bent over backwards to make the cruise a pleasant experience for all of us. The food was excellent, both buffet style and gourmet meals served in the dining room. Our cruise director, Yvonne De Sera, was a tireless young woman who made sure we were all well entertained both on the ship and off. Her choices of tours were excellent and very interesting, as were the local tour guides she provided with each excursion. We were very impressed with the buses (that followed along with the ship) and their drivers, especially since they had to manoeuver through many very tight lanes, without incident. The on-board entertainment was exceptionally well chosen and enjoyed by all. We were honoured to be invited to dine in the Portobello with our friends, one of whom had a birthday that night. She was presented with a beautiful birthday cake and the staff joined us in singing happy birthday to her - in experience she will never forget. All in all, a WONDERFUL experience.
