We returned Disney for our 16th overall cruise, our 3rd Dinesy cruise and our first Panama Canal Cruise. Compared to all of the other lines we have traveled only Celebrity comes close to matching the quality of Disney.

This was our second time on the Wonder. The ship was updated before we sailed. It was nice, clean and easy to get around on. Considering this was a 14-day cruise there were not a lot of kids. The canal seems to be more of an adult trip. That being said the adults only area was packed. We had a great time and just avoided the adults only pool area.

We have always had balcony rooms and have done Disney Conceirge with a 1 bedroom suite. We had a large porthole room on Deck-2. We loved it and saved a bunch of money. It was roomy and the giant porthole was a good window (plus we were never in the room). We will get this category of room from now on. Our cabin attendant was wonderful. She saw a note in our room about our 35th wedding anniversary and decorated our bed one night while we were at the show. Our room was always clean and fresh. I am 6’06” tall. My feet hang off the bottom of all cruise ship beds. My head hit the top of the shower like it has on all 16 of our cruises.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09D

Our cabin was clean and sized well except for the fact that at 6’06” I have to bend in the shower and my feet hang over the end of the bed. Our attendant was wonderful! At large porthole was very good. We watched the ship descend in one of the locks from our room. We will travel in these rooms from now on.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Walked around the port area for a bit.

San Diego

Nice port to board. Kids dropped us off after a morning drive from LA.

Cabo San Lucas

Stayed on the ship and watched Avengers movies.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Should have gone on an excursion. Walked all over the port shopping and snacking.

Cozumel

Walked around. Got warned that taking food off the ship would cost us a $10K fine. Got checked by two food sniffing police dogs. Got panhandled 10 times.
