This was our first trip to Alaska, and from planning through our disembarkation it was a wonderful experience. The ship is beautiful, the crew were all friendly and helpful and we enjoyed just about all the amenities available. This ship is smaller than the Dream, and we met many wonderful families who we saw several times on the trip. We had a verandah room, which was in great shape, and well cared for by our room host. We love rotational dining, and our serving team worked their magic in making our meals, and our encounters with them outside of the restaurants very personal. I was delighted to see adjustments in the evening dining menus and themes, even when we returned to previous locations. Our Palo experience on the last night was also wonderful. The buffet options were always varied, and represented many cultures and choices. The entertainment was varied and excellent,, and we enjoyed many shows, movies and acts. Because of the way things are scheduled, we had personal experiences with the entertainers, including the headlining acts. The on board naturalist, helped all of us make the most of our time in Alaska Everyone seems to exude the same concern and interest in meeting you and learning your story. We booked 3 excursions through Disney, and each one was better than the last. The surprising treats, like hot soup on deck, or mulled wine, or hot chocolate when cold were welcoming. We needed a few extra items to make our cruise seamless for health reasons, and they were accommodated gracefully and consistently without any additional reminders. I used the gym every day and found it clean, well supported and well equipped. We are looking for our NEXT Disney cruise adventure.
From the carpet, to the comfort of the bed, it was very comfortable. The dual bathroom sections (toilet in one, shower/tub int the other)..make getting ready so easy. More than adequate drawer and closet space, and all bags fit under the bed.
