This was the worst cruise I have ever been on. I've never been on a Norwegian cruise before and this made me realize why I've never done one. My family normally does Royal Caribbean or Carnival (which is rare). We travel together every year between cruises or all inclusive. This cruise was filled with quite a few people that this was their first cruise. For the people who have been on cruises before we had felt there was many times the crew was disrespectful and the service in certain restaurants was horrible This cruise made me second guess going on another Norwegian cruise.

For a cruise ship that large you would think they would know how to use the space properly... wrong. The venue for their main shows barely held half the passengers and they didn't have enough showings for either shows. Plus that venue could have been used for activities that were high demanding yet they used the atrium and it was horrible.

The crew: Where do I begin. How about the fact that most of them could use an attitude adjustment. I'm not sure how they think that being disrespectful toward paying guest is going to make guest want to come back. It was every crew member but a few and that left quite a negative feeling within the group of people I traveled with especially because this was my boyfriends first cruise.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

The cabin was nice for 2 people. Plenty of room and places for luggage, clothes and plugs. Only issue was our housekeeper was not the best. He would forget to leave floor mat or put the toilet paper back on the toilet holder instead left it next to it or not take away dirty glasses away and not really clean the room as well. We noticed the first day that the cabin had been cleaned not as well as it could be. (I've been on better cruises and never had pillow with stains on it). I reported it to guest services and they of course did nothing about it. Just keep an eye out on how your cabin looks and let your housekeeper know.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

The port is beautiful. We didnt have really great weather. Rained roughly 1.5 days but we made it work.
