The ship itself is not designed to our liking. I feel that it was designed to cram as many people onboard as possible which took away from the usual features that we expect from cruising .We like to take walks on the outside decks, from one side to the other and back around, for exercise and the view, but this ship did not have a deck where we could do that. There were only 2 sets of elevators for us and the other 4,000 people ( plus crew) to use and we very often had a long wait or we just ended up taking the stairs. We did enjoy the entertainment options very much. And we had a very smooth sailing from the port of Barcelona, to Italy and France, then back again to Barcelong. We have sailed on the Norwegian Jewel and loved it! I would sail with Norwegian again, but not on the Epic.
